When Tech Talks Turn to Life: A Heartfelt Afternoon at CoderPush

In our fast-paced world, how often do we truly get to pause, reflect, and reconnect – not just with our colleagues, but with ourselves? Last week, something special happened at CoderPush Saigon that offered exactly that chance. Our CEO and co-founder, Harley Trung, hosted an intimate offline TechTalk at the cozy Mr. Tươi Cafe, beautifully themed "Learning, Love & Life."

This was far from a typical tech talk. Forget code, algorithms, and jargon. This was about real conversations, real feelings, and the profound things that truly matter in life, shared from a leader who walks the talk.

Beyond Business Frameworks: A Journey into Growth and Connection

Harley Trung, drawing from his rich experiences at the Entrepreneurial Masters Program (EMP) at MIT, his journeys across the U.S., and his personal reflections, brought back more than just business frameworks. He shared deeply personal insights on growth, family, relationships, and what truly makes life meaningful. His gentle guidance led the CoderPush team through thought-provoking questions, inviting everyone to look inward:

• What is life like without learning?
• What is life like without love?

Every attendee was given the space to pause, reflect, write, and share. It was a powerful reminder that while technology connects us globally, human connection enriches us personally and professionally.

A Deep Dive into Self

The session wasn't just about listening; it was about doing, thinking, and feeling. This hands-on engagement created a palpable shift in the room, moving us from surface-level interactions to genuine depth. Some of the activities that resonated most included:

• "Where Are You Now?" A candid self-assessment across the 7Fs (Family, Finance, Faith, Fitness, Friends, Fun, Field) to understand our current standing in life.
• "10-Year Vision with Love" An inspiring exercise to envision and write down a personal love and family vision for the next decade.
• Time Reflection - A practical look at "How do you really spend your week?" prompting honest evaluation of our daily lives.

Harley’s open and personal storytelling, coming from someone who has built and led so much, made it easy for everyone to lean in and connect. You could truly feel the atmosphere transform as personal stories unfolded and shared experiences forged stronger bonds.

The afternoon was filled with quiet, powerful moments:

• The Opening Warm-Up A reflective exercise on learning, love, and life set a warm, introspective tone.
